Why I Started METODIC

We all love the magic in the room: the questions, the sparks, the breakthrough moments. But most sessions are won (or lost) before anyone walks in. That’s the spirit behind the 75–25 idea: Roughly 75% of your impact comes from design (intent, flow, assets, constraints); the remaining 25% is your human craft in the moment. It’s not a law, it’s a reminder: great facilitation starts with great architecture.

But most sessions are won (or lost) before anyone walks in.
That’s the spirit behind the 75–25 idea:
Roughly 75% of your impact comes from design (intent, flow, assets, constraints); the remaining 25% is your human craft in the moment. It’s not a law, it’s a reminder: great facilitation starts with great architecture.
The real pain (you’ve felt it too)
I used to burn days stitching together agendas, choosing methods, building materials—and then a stakeholder changed the brief at 17:00. Or the group shifted. Or time got cut. After the session, documentation still needed doing while momentum faded.
Over the years (from the Design Method Toolkit to SCREAM, to the Global Goals Jam)I kept chasing a faster, smarter prep flow that didn’t kill my energy for the human work.
I wanted a co-designer, not another template dump. Today, Metodic helps facilitators generate ready-to-use toolkits quickly—drawing from a large methods knowledge base so you can move from session intent to methods, templates, and session plans with far less friction. In fact, the Global Goals Jam uses “Built with Metodic.io” to let people create customized session toolkits in minutes. You can try it with free credits, and there’s a lightweight monthly plan when you need more.
The goal is simple: shrink the 75% so you can shine in the 25%—presence, empathy, judgment, and the courage to improvise.
What METODIC is (and isn’t)
Is: An AI-powered way to design sessions faster—toolkits, method cards, worksheets, and session plans you can adapt to your context.
Isn’t: A promise that “AI runs the room.” Your craft stays at the center. Nor is it a replacement of your originality, it just sparks even more creativity!
Is becoming: The start of a broader facilitation platform: methods at its core, expanding as new tech improves week by week. (That’s our direction—not a features list.)
Design your own session
METODIC turns ideas like these into a complete session agenda with activities, timing, and materials — for workshops, meetings, offsites, and team sessions.
