Why I Started METODIC

We all love the magic in the room: the questions, the sparks, the breakthrough moments.

But most sessions are won (or lost) before anyone walks in.

That’s the spirit behind the 75–25 idea:

Roughly 75% of your impact comes from design (intent, flow, assets, constraints); the remaining 25% is your human craft in the moment. It’s not a law, it’s a reminder: great facilitation starts with great architecture.

The real pain (you’ve felt it too)

I used to burn days stitching together agendas, choosing methods, building materials—and then a stakeholder changed the brief at 17:00. Or the group shifted. Or time got cut. After the session, documentation still needed doing while momentum faded.

Over the years (from the Design Method Toolkit to SCREAM, to the Global Goals Jam)I kept chasing a faster, smarter prep flow that didn’t kill my energy for the human work.

I wanted a co-designer, not another template dump.
