Run a session online: Zoom, Teams or Meet

Share the room screen window in your video call and keep the Presenter View to yourself. Participants join from a link in the chat.

Steps

1. In Session Control, click Present slides. In the Presenter View, click Start live session so participants can join.
2. Click Open room screen. The slides open in a window of their own.
3. In Zoom, Teams or Meet, start sharing your screen and choose that window, not your whole screen.
4. Keep the Presenter View on your own screen. Your notes, the timer and the next slide stay private. The call sees the slides and the starting and break screens.
5. Paste the join link in the meeting chat. The copy button next to the code in Session Control copies it. Participants open it on their phone or in a second browser tab. Live questions, questions to you and the mood check work as they do in a room.
6. Running without slides? Then there is nothing to share. The join page shows participants the current activity and its timer.

Tip: Playing timer sounds or music? Switch on sharing computer sound when you start sharing, or participants will not hear it. Keep the room screen and the Presenter View in the same browser on the same computer, so the room screen follows you.
