Session Control or Presenter View: which one do I use?
Two screens for running a session. Use the Presenter View when you present slides, and Session Control when you run from the agenda.
Steps
- Running the session with slides? Use the Presenter View: open your slide deck and click Present.
- The Presenter View puts the slides on the room screen. Your own screen shows the timer for the activity, your notes and the next slide.
- A slide with a live question opens that question on the phones when you reach it. Click Start live session first, so participants can join.
- Running the session from the agenda, without slides? Use Session Control. Open the Actions tab and start Launch Session.
- Session Control shows the timer, the steps and tips of each activity and your notes. You open the live questions yourself.
- Want to switch? In Session Control, click Present slides. In the Presenter View, Stop takes you back to Session Control.
Tip: You only need one of the two at a time. For a session with slides, start in the Presenter View and stay there.
