Phases of 4C/ID Model
- Learning Tasks: Participants work on realistic, whole tasks that mirror real-world scenarios; this provides context and motivation for learning the necessary skills.
- Supportive Info: Learners receive information that helps them understand the underlying concepts and principles related to the tasks, fostering deeper comprehension and problem-solving abilities.
- Procedural Info: Participants get precise, step-by-step instructions on how to perform specific procedures or tasks, ensuring they can execute the required actions correctly and efficiently.
- Part-Task Practice: Learners practice individual components or sub-skills of the whole task in isolation, allowing them to master specific elements before integrating them into the complete task.
