How to run Temporal Context Mapping, step by step

1. Introduce the framework and explain the six distinct PESTLE categories using the colored sticky notes (5 min).
2. Instruct participants to silently generate one major trend per category on their sticky notes, focusing on the 5-year horizon (10 min).
3. Direct participants to approach the wall one by one to place their notes in the respective category zones without speaking (10 min).
4. Guide the group to silently cluster similar or overlapping trends within each category to reveal thematic concentrations (10 min).
5. Ask participants to draw physical lines with markers between trends in different categories that will inevitably intersect (10 min).
